Marvin Xavierselvan
PhD. Student @iBITS at Tufts University
Marvin Xavierselvan is a 3rd year Ph.D. student in the integrated Biofunctional Imaging and Therapeutics Lab (iBIT) at Tufts University. He is currently completing his Ph.D. in the Department of Biomedical Engineering under Dr. Srivalleesha Mallidi. His current research focuses on using oxygenated nanodroplets to enhance photodynamic therapy efficacy in hypoxic tumors. His research interests are photoacoustic imaging, nanotechnology, and image-guided PDT in head and neck cancer and pancreatic cancer. His research goal is to improve the efficacy of cancer treatments using PDT-based combination therapies.
